This is my favorite Mac album by far, and I'm a fan...I loved it so much that I owned it on every format -- cassette, CD and LP. I still own the CD and LP and want to hunt down a copy of the anniversary 180 gram deluxe edition LP...I have this album on CD, excellent!
Every now and then he comes up with a good one.
I think the Mac is as good as JT, as much as I love him too...Still no James Taylor though.
I do think the Stephen Wilson mixes are very well done and handled with care. Have just ordered the 180g vinyl of Heavy Horses after a couple of listens on Spotify. Unfortunately due to circumstances it's now taking a month to deliver, just couldn't convince Amazon that it's an essential item along with medication and food!Listening on headphones now Jethro Tull Benefit. Steven Wilson 2013 remix CD. Cleaning out some cupboards earlier this evening came across my Tull vinyl collection. Don't think they've seen the light of day for 15 years or so. Think I should have taken better care of them, I'd be embarrassed to take them to my local second hand record store, covers are in a sorry state.

Songs from the Wood is a brilliant album if you don't already have it. I've got Heavy Horses as well, in fact got all the Wilson remixes.I do think the Stephen Wilson mixes are very well done and handled with care. Do agreed on the Nova Collective great album, not heard Void ox Sleep as yet but will get around to them.Yesterday whilst working from home -
the brilliant - Nova Collective - The Further Side. I think this will be an absolute classic in years to come.
the new - Void of Sleep - Metaphora. Pretty good stoner based album but with prog and psychedelic influences. Similar to Queens of the Stone Age and mellower Mastodon.
