Can users list the best pc Emulators for any conclose thats been produced.
SNES - ZSNES
Mega Drive - Gens
N64 - Project 64
I reccommend them to you, especially the N64 one!
I use ZSNES and Snes9x for my SNES emulation. Since I've still got my N64, I haven't really branched into that yet. I haven't investigated the NES scene for a while, but I've still got NESticle, which did anything I threw at it.
epsxe.com is a STUNNING playstation emulator. I went out and bought myself a copy of GT2 I was so impressed.
anyone know of a PS2 emulator for the PC?
There is no usable PS2 emulator. To my understanding there are a couple of attempts but theya re just stuttery unstable messes.
Emulators are never going to be as efficient as the original code. That's why you need a more powerful machine than the original to handle them.
As good as MAME is, Nesticle was near flawless. It even supported network play!
Even if there was one, it wouldnt be what youd have hoped (you want to play PS2 games on the cheap right?)
all the tinkering around with emulators and images you have to do + downloading etc you'll end up better off buying a used PS2 to save time hassle etc, and its legal.
Well i see one once in a program that i'm not going to mentioned and is not kazza, but if i download it i will tell you further news about it.
Your are right, emulator is never going to be as good like the console.
I can imagine it would be pretty difficult ot emu the PS2. It is difficult enough to program for it let alone reverse engineer it.
I would suspect you would need the ninja of all rigs to run it.
neo rage is pretty cool if you liked noe-geo stuff
From what I've seen, MAME does a very good job of the Neo-geo games as well.
