Recent favourites of mine (i don't watch that much though) are Line of Duty (police / suspense) and Peaky Blinders (crime / action). Both are UK. Both are worth watching from the series 1 though.

Stop being so cynical Krish and join with the spirit of the thread. I'll surprise you with some of my choices.

    Dr Who
    Hancock
    Auf Wiedersehen Pet
    The Likely Lads
    The Avengers

    Now that'll have shocked you.

Just started line of duty, so far so good.

    Cynical indeed...

What I get out of this post are some new tv shows to watch...What do you get out of posting that comment? Acknowledgement from the big boys club?

LOL, what is your problem bro? I'd rather you not post here if you have nothing but your lofty wit to contribute.

Flaming Americans bastardising the english language :nono:

I see what krish is on about we had a influx of new members over the last few weeks and first or shortly after the thing they all asked is, a list thread or to name something or someone.
By the way there a list here.
Any Recommendations of tv shows, New or old?

Well I'm happy that you've proven me wrong Bro, but this forum regularly has threads identical to yours from newly registered spammers/bots who then never post again. The forum also has a search box where you'll also find one hundred kazillion threads identical to yours, which you could have looked at first.

Perhaps a way to put off some of these spammers would be no thread creation from new regs until they've posted a set number of posts in other (non-lifestyle) AV threads?

I was going to list 10 but now I'm not as I'm easily swayed by an argument. So there.

I was going to start a thread to ask about your favourite shows from 2012 as it's the only year i like...

But seriously, let's show some love to new folks :), even if search functions aren't used before novice posts.

If we don't like the post, we can always ignore it and let nature / chronological ordering take its course.

Just trying to spread peace and love, bro's and sis's (you can see how street i am)

My grammar, and spelling atrocious it's just the way my brain works, my logic great and have many qualifications, but always try to use 'too' for 'too many', 'their' for referring to belonging to, and if I had a gun I would hold vertical not horizontal, and would not use 'my bad' which sounds like sloppy American street speech.
    You'd never/would hear John Steed saying it.

I quite like Supergirl but I find Arrow a bit harrowing.

@Garrett would you promise to do something "on friday" or "friday"?

It's my own personal pet hate. UK retailers used to say something was "out on monday", but no longer. It's such a small word, why the hate?

Many a time what sent to my fingers is not always what I type. I type rember 100% of the time even though know it's remeber and always have to go back and had an e.:(

    The Wire
    Peaky Blinders
    Friends
    Game of Thrones
    Suits
    The Shield
    The Sopranos
Falling Skies (seems/is cheap production wise, but well worth sticking with)
    Rome
    House of Cards

There would be a few others thrown in the mix

    Red Oaks - Amazon original
The 100 - another that is cheap, but worth sticking with
Walking Dead - gets a little dull as the seasons progress
    Atypical
    13 reasons
    Stranger Things
Prison Break - got a touch daft towards the end
Orange Is The New Black - I've not progressed past season 3
    Big Bang Theory
    Breaking Bad
