    Hi All,
Quite a simple one this , hopefully tomorrow I will get the go ahead for this amount of money for an amp.So I am wondering what my options are , and WHY , other than the Pioneer AX5i (only cause I know a lot about this amp)
    Many thanks in advance.

I'd wait for the Denon 3805 and compare it A/B with the Pioneer AX5 with whatever speakers you are using. There are offerings from Yamaha, Marantz, Nad, HK, Sony, all the usual players. The info is there, just browse suppliers websites and demo stuff in your price bracket.

HK330/430 or EX demo 7500!!! Should be much better in stereo than PIO but if you have small satellites IE eggs wont make a huge difference!

What about the Yamaha RX2400 from Leading Edge for £849.

But your likely to have a wait, ordered mine in January, still waiting & no sign of a delivery date, Yamaha seem to be holding back.

After getting the nod, I have made a decision. After contacting Denon, and they said that it would be (AT LEAST) the end of this month, but probably the middle of April before the 3805 would be released.Plus the fact that when I rang Pioneer they reassured me that the AX5i's delay facility works on per source, and not just a general delay for all sources, that really sold me.
So the AX5i it is, if any of you have any hints or tips for me on the AX5i, that would be fantastic.
Many thanks on you're reply's. :smashin:
