I'm kinda stuck in deciding whether I should buy an AV amp, or just an stereo amp with a seperate DAC. I have the follwing:

    Mission 780se speakers (stereo)
    Sky Digital
    Squeezebox (with digital out)
    HTPC (with digital out)

I basically need an amp that has digital inputs, and obviously most, if not all intergrated amps don't have them. So my options are to either buy an AV amp, like the Arcam AVR250 or get a decent stereo amp have run a DAC.

I should say right off that stereo performance is alot more important. I don't have a surround sound set up at all(no space). Is buying a big AV reciever total overkill? considering I won't be using alot of it's features. Or should I route for the hifi amp/DAC route? Like I said, surround sound is something I don't have, but I need digital inputs to benefit from the quality from my music server.
