    My equipment

29" FS TV with 2 scarts and ariel socket.

    Sky box with 2 scarts

    VHS recorder

    Pioneer DVD player

    Gamecube

    Videosender

    Yamaha A/V Receiver

    objective

To be able to have DVD, sky and if possible Gamecube running through the videosender to my sons bedroom. Also if possible, he can play the Gamecube, whilst we watch sky downstairs or vice versa, if you get my drift.

    Problem

Can't get sound/picture DVD upstairs, sky I can.

    What I have done

DVD.....optical out to amp, video via phono into Amp, scart to phono from DVD player into videosender.

Sky....runs through VHS into scart 1

Gamecube....phono leads (all 3) from cube straight into amp, running video and sound through amp.

Amp....video out running into scart scart 2 (phono)

Ive also put 3 two into one phono adaptor into each phono on my videosender, plugged 3 phono's into videosender, along with the original phono's that where already there.

    Please help

Have you confirmed that there is a video signal coming out of the scart-3phonos from your DVD? Try plugging it in to the front AV inputs on your TV (if it has them) to test it out.
It's possible your cable is wired the wrong way round.

    I don't have front phono's.

It seems to be scart 2 that is not going upstairs, only scart 1 is going through the videosender, so what I might do is trace back the scart from scart 1, replace with scart to phono, and use a two into one phono on the video.
