    Please help!
I have just bought a Panny TX-32LXD1 LCD TV and need advice to what all-in-one cinema system would be best to buy?
Its mainly for films but we could replace the Hi-Fi!
    I have a price range upto £600
    Thanks.

If your new Panny has component inputs then I'd suggest the Denon 500SD. Retails for around £420 multi-region, has excellent sound and picture quality (P Scan) and looks tasty too.

CD playback is good if not great, doesn't play SACD or DVD-Audio disks though.

Thanks for that, its looks a great system and I see its £399 incl delivery!

I have read that there seems to be a problem with sub-titles appearing randomly for a few secs etc.

Any thouhts? Also, do you know what Component cable is best for price/quality?

    Thanks for your help.

The sub-titl problem has affected some people but is infrequent and not wide-spread; I've had my system for 5/6 weeks and it hasn't happened once!

A excellent source for decent cables at reasonable prices is www.cableuniverse.co.uk -their service is top notch. I've purchased various leads from them, so far so good.

The Panny SCHT1500 sounds great, has anyone any views on this system compared to Denon 500SD?

Thanks Ali for the link to the cable site.

With your budget you might also consider the Denon 550 ....just a thought.
