:lease: Recently returned Digifusion 150 as repeatedly faulty. Thinking of Humax 9200 but heard twin tuners split signal. Old box only achieving 68% signal strength. Maxview booster in loft, standard 9 element analogue aerial on roof. Which upgrade aerial will give best result - Winter Hill transmitter on channels C/D (I Think). Got rude response when I asked local installer.
thanks spinybif

Not surprised - no wonder your PVR doesn't work correctly with only a nine element BASIC aerial with one Maxview booster in the loft. This is hardly enough to bring in analogue reception and certainly not the freeview digital channels.

You need a wideband aerial properly installed on a chimney mast and new digital co-axial shielded cable running down building. Aerial installer will probably charge around £200,

See the DTG webpage and click on the Confederation of Aerial Installers link.
