    Hi all

I was serious thinking of purchasing the Sony-S9000ES
I'm told it's probably the best on the market to Date
but that was nearly a year ago, as it been surpassed
by anything since then (are there any flaws), and what price should I be paying? I saw one selling for around £700, which is nearly half the price when it came out.

With more and more people entering the Home Cinema World
what can we expect in the near future.
should I save a little more and wait untill later in the year,
Or has the DVD Machine reached it's pinnacle, or will there
always be improvements with the advances in technology,

Any Comments and Advice will be appreciated.

make sure when you buy a player it's got a 4mb buffer, because you don't see the layer change(a pause in the film), for me this is a big plus:D
let's hope we see more dvd's on the market this year with this feature.

with a 4mb buffer you don't have to wait almost 2 mins for a walt disney film to load, that's the problem i had with my old tosh 3109.
when going though the menues no more long waits!!

If your interested in SACD have a look at the Sony DVP-NS900V, its about £450 multiregioned, I got it at a local reputable hifi store, its superb for the price. The demonstrators in the shop were highly impressed by it, even remarking its dts built in decoding is superb, and this shop sells £6000 processors from Lexicon, so they should know what theyre talking about. Im highly impressed by mine so far and the people who Ive talked to who have one and know about such things have told me they rate the cd playback of this this at more than £400. Its worth auditioning to see what you think of it,

    David
