Hi I am not sure exactly wot accessories I will need to buy for my PSP which I should have in the next 3 weeks

This is what I will be using it for ...

    1. want to use it on a long plain journey to mexico. Flight is 11 hours so will need some kind of battery power cable that I cna plug in to the power supplies under the chair on the plain.

2 how do I get games that are on my PC hard drive on my 1gb memory card ?? I take it there is some kind of cable that links my PSP 2 my PC ?

    3. whats a decent screen protector which is easy to fit ?

4 any more accessories that you think might be of any use ?? not interested in video software as I have just bought a 10" portable dvd player

thanks to any 1 who helps me out !

cant answer all your qs mate but

    2) it's pretty easy. you need a usb to mini b usb cable (might be able to use an existing digital camera cable, but it didn't work for me). Then navigate to USB under settings (it's all inthe manual anyway)

3&4) i don't bother with a screen protector (difficult to not get any bubbles under the layer i hear), but definitely get a logitech case.

The cable to charge with comes with the PSP.

You need firmware 1.5 to backup games. Look elsewhere for this.

    1. Check what type of power supply/connectors the plane has and just get an adapter for your PSP power pack. There's no PSP Plane Charger as such.

    2. You can't just play PC games on the PSP. You can only play certain types, providing you have firmware 1.50. Check pspupdates.com for more info. A 1gig stick is essential for watching more than one movie on the PSP.

    3. I'm using the GAME brand one, and I'm happy with it. Had no problems with it. I would recommend it, despite what other posters say, as it does protect the screen from light scratches.

    4. NEVER buy video converting software. It's a waste of cash. Go to pspvideo9.com and get a free version which is just as good. I would recommend a hard case, like the Logitech Playgear, and if you have a laptop/pc, there's a handy dual USB Charger and Data cable that GAME sell.

Buy a case, if anything. If it drops, you're screwed, unless its a soft landing. Its not as durable as say my old Nintendo handhelds, that I could use as doorstoppers with no worries

and maybe a microfibre cloth. Some ppl say official one (inc with PSP), scratches the screen (lightly)

absolutely get a screen protector, i got the GAME one if you take your time and put it on right its very good.

If you looked at my PSP you would never know it had a screen protector on it.

I also got the MAXx2 battery from datel, double length battery for only £24.99, fits directly into the PSP but adds a little bulk to the back. Great for film watching and feels comfortable in the hand for gaming.Downside is may only be able to fit it in a soft case when its loaded in your psp
