The Panasonic PT-LC50 is a discontinued model and was never a great seller and not one I would have recommended for Home Cinema use - also its a 4:3 LCD panel that is 16:9 switchable; not a problem really just a but misleading on the page you linked too.

Panasonic have not replaced this model or its SVGA partner, the PT-LC70, with anything quote so small at present.

If you are looking for an option to the PT-AE100 look at the PT-LC55 (800x600) and PT-LC75 (1024x768) - both 1200 lumen 4:3 panels using the same video engine as the PT-AE100.

    Best regards

    Thanks for that.

It just sounded better than the ae100 on that site.
