    Hey guys/girls,

Been reading through the posts but im still none the wiser!!!

Im looking for a 37" LCD, Need to be able to plug my PC into it, be HD ready have HDMI etc. and ideally last me a while with future technologies.

Im looking to spend between £800-950

I heard Hitachi are good by someone that fits Plasma's/LCD's for a living but im not sure!

    Any help appreciated :smashin:

The forum is somewhat let down by the fact that most people come on and post questions that have been asked 1000 times. The problem is that they then bugger off as soon as they get an answer.

I suggest that you just search through the pages. I found these on pages 4 and 5. Bear in mind that the last posts were about 6 hours ago and you will realise most posts are drowned with similar ones. Each page disappears within about an hour:

There are plenty more if you look, and I mean plenty.

Im still a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information you guys talk about, alot of it doesn't mean much to me.

Im basically after a good quality TV 37 or 42 inch, What to buy and where to buy would be appreciated?

Or if someone could give me a list of top 3 choices perhaps. sorry im asking alot for a newbie but if anyone can take the time

    These TV's seem to get decent reviews;

    Toshiba 37WLT66
    LG 37LC2DB
    Panasonic TH37PX60B
    Sharp LC37GD8E

All the above are less than £800.

I have the Tosh 37wlt66 and I am very pleased with it. My xbox 360 looks great and I also have the 360 hd dvd add on and that also looks great.

What would be best to use with VGA to have my PC connected?

My vote goes to the LG - only £750 from empire direct (which you can use to pm JL)

Another vote for the Tosh 37WLT66 (Although we actually have the 37WL version without the freeview.)

    I'd recommend Digitaldirect.co.uk,

    £758 for the 37WLT66

    £699! for the 37WL66

The WL is exactly the same model, just minus the freeview, so if you're going to be running Sky through it anyway, you can save yourself £50.

Bearing in mind that he wants to use it as a monitor, the toshiba would not be a good idea!

For PC use the LG would be better. The Toshiba is better for TV though (apparently).
