    Help!

My father is trying to get a new LCD tv, on a budget, and he's asked me what to go for. I've tried to push him towards a Sony KDL40D3000 for just that bit more money, but it's above his budget.

He's looked at Toshibas, Samsungs and LGs but can't decide. I've searched for reviews, but they either seem to have "average" picture quality, or a high fault rate.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? :lease:

    Thanks!

You could consider the Sharp LC37XD1E which is a Full HD set (1080P) and you can get it for £ 732 including delivery.

Heres a link to a one retailer but several others sell it at this price too.

They are being sold cheap because the model is about to be replaced but its a great TV and should keep your Dad happy!

    Happy hunting...

Have a look at the Samsung 37R88BD via dixons.co.uk for a fabulous £599!! If you input the code "disc01" you get a further £15 off - magnificent price for a five star set ..... just about to buy one myself.

Ths sharp is still a bit too much money, not much different to a sony in price.

I'm a bit worried about Samsung, as they seem to be well know for breaking, which is a shame, as they seem to have fantastic picture quality...
