I have just had delivered a LOEWE ARTICOS 32 one word describes it awesome. My only advice i can give you is how much do you want to spend and then narrow your choice down and then read the views of people that have bought the sets and then go and see for yourself.

I'm in the same situation, returned a 9617 with black bars and 2 FQ80's with loud buzzing. Now looking for something else. Considering JVC 32HD25, but I like the sound of the Loewes. What the crack with the Articos and the Aconda ?

Any owners care to give an opinion? Any known problems like the notorious philips black bars or sony buzzing?

I'm pretty new to this, but presumed I was getting the best when I bought my Sony. How wrong I was!

If you're looking for a Loewe Articos (and I have to agree with Irish Boy, it is an awesome set), I've just put mine up for sale in the classifieds. No complaints about the TV whatsoever, I just got the opportunity to switch to plasma.

It's in mint condition, comes with a remaining 14 months warranty and has the crispest picture I've ever seen on a 32".

I second that you could pick a 32fx66 for 8 or 900 quid and have 500 notes to spend on lager:D

You could always go for the new Loewe Aventos. I avnt seen one for myself but its been gettin good reviews and is of a spec similar to the rest of the Loewe range. Costs about 900 pounds.
