This is my first post, I have been lurking on this board for a few months trying to decide if I should buy a LCD or not. Well my hand has been forced as my own crt TV got bashed up in a move and rather than accept the replacement the insurance company offered, I chose the 500 pound Dixons/Currys vouchers and I will make up the difference with my own money for the TV I want.
Looking at the Currys website the 2 that catch my eye are the 32WL56 (£847) and the Sharp LC32P50E (£837). I would prefer the Toshiba as its a true HD ready panel but its just not available anywhere!
Also these are website prices and I would probably have to bargain and knock the shop prices down to a similar level. (Vouchers are not valid online). in fact they probably wont want to bargain if they realise ill be paying for most of it with vouchers!
Are there any others to consider? (<= £1000)
