Hi guys, i need some opinions quickly.
i have vouchers for £550 that can only be used in the stores mentioned above, adding to the value is not an option for me at the moment. so i have decided to go for a 32" CRT Widescreen. but there are so many there, i don't know how to choose.. i will list some below and hopefully you guys can make some suggestions..

    PHILIPS - 32PW6520 or 32PW6720D/05
    TOSHIBA - 32Z53B
    HITACHI - C32W460
    SAMSUNG - WS32A116DSXXEU or WS32Z306VB
    JVC - AV32T5SK.

sorry about the list, i think i got all the available ones. i have argued with the insurance companie and i can only purchase from these stores...

    any ideas guys ?????

No, definitely not...the 32Z53B is Toshiba designed and manufactured. the 32YT56 is a "Bought-in" Vestel chassis and vastly inferior.

I would advise against this model, had 2 in quick succession both returned for faults, now have a sony, if you search on this forum for 32yt56 or 28yt56, you will see some of the comments............

I would avoid the Samsung WS32Z306VB, or at least read all the threads on it on here, sadly I didnt read em till after I`d bought one.

Also follow KaKa`s advice, check the box, as Currys pulled a fast one on me and sold me a used or ex display TV as a new, and then tried to fob me off with discount.

Why don't you sell the vouchers and buy a one second hand. You can pick up a great quality CRT for around £200. pocket the £300. If you are keen on CRT then now is the perfect time to be buying second hand, you'd almost be mad to buy new. People who are upgrading to flat screen and have nothing to do with their old CRT's.
