I know recently Samsung replaced there 19 LCD TV with a new model, does any one have the new model number I'm after the one that will do accept digital broadcast after the switch off.

I thought it had 88 in the number but could not find that on on Pricerunner.

By the way can anyone point me to a cheap reliable supplier?

You're already on the internet, you could do worse than looking at samsung.com/uk ;)

    Anyway, here's a sort of answer/question-

I was looking at getting a 19in for the bedroom and like the look of the Samsungs, but try as I might I cant tell the feckin difference between the LE19R86BD and the LE19R88BD

Both are listed on the Samsung website, but *seem* to have identical features and specs.

Some retailer have the 86, some the 88. Some have the 88 more expensive some the 86.

.......of course, most places are out of stock of both anyway, but there you go.

They are the same tv that have a few cosmetic differences and the R88 is sold exclusive in the DSG stores, Currys, Dixons ands PC World the other is sold everywhere else.

I'm looking for a 19" or 23" bedroom LCD. Can anyone tell me what the highest spec Samsung range is ?
    86, 87 or 88 ?. I'm confused.
Also it would be useful to know what the difference is between the specs.
    Thanks.

I hate it when they do that......whats the point? its just confusing when trying to compare prices - having said that I think its absolutley mental that the LE19R88BDX is 330 quid at Currys oline and only 247 quid at Dixions online - they're the same company!:mad:
