Anyone seen the new Wharfedale Pacific Evo's?

Have a look here . They look gorgeous in the brochure, wonder if they sound as good as they look?

    Rommel,

I auditioned the Evo 40's yesterday 12/27 and ordered a pair to replace my Paradigm Monitor 3 v.3. The Wharfdales have much better bass and sweeter highs and sound good at low levels as well as high. The Paradigms needed to be played at a higher level for the sound to fill out. I think you would be happy with the Wharfedales. The true test will be when I get them home.

What are you going to do with the Monitor 3s?

I've been looking for a pair for centre rear duties.

When buying my Kef Q1s I also looke at the Warfdale. Interesting that Warfdale have also adopted the same shape as the Kefs.

IMO using the same bit of music I felt the Kefs souded better ie went lower. This was like for like ie Q1s against equivalent sized Warfdales

    Evilmudge,
The store was running a special so I traded them in. Sorry.
