Anyone got one of these? What's your experience? I ask because I noticed that 'What Hifi' gave it 5/5 and a Best Buy recently. Can anyone say how it compares with subs around the same price mark, i.e. MS309 etc?

    Cheers

I heard one at the recent What Hi-Fi show in London, didn't sound too bad for a budget sub. The BK XLS200 is a better buy though.

I have to slightly disagree with Kazzy. I was quite impressed with it inthe London show as It was pumping out Hero. As i have just watched it its quite a bass heavy film:D It was very good and controlled. I dont think many people have them yet and would love to compare it to the xls200 and the 309.

Yep, a test against the 309 and xls200 would be very instructive.

    Been there, done that :lesson:

We have dont a test between the xls200 and 309 in the 'sticky' budget sub test at the top of this forum. If someone want to bring there sw150 down here i have a 309 (not for much longer hopefully) and a pb10 to play it agasinst:D

My SW150 arrived yesterday. It had been on order for over six weeks. On first hearing it appears to be tight, controlled, warm, musical, deep and integrates well, from the word go, with the rest of the system. It'll take a few weeks to bed down, of course but so far I'm very pleased with it.

At the moment, in lieu of definitive reviews on the Wharf, I'm still going to go for the Xls200 (when I finally get the money together of course  ). But, if you don't mind me asking, Eitzel, where did you get it from and how much? Would still be interested to hear of your judgment on the Wharf as it beds down.

I got it from HiFiBitZ for £250. They told me that only around eight arrived in the country at the end of last week and that they had six of them. I'll let you know how the sub beds in.
