Wharfedale Diamond 9.SR Opinion

Active Member

I am just in the process of upgrading my home cinema and have been looking at the Wharfedale Diamond 9.SR as my rear speakers, I have done an extensive search on the internet but can't find any reviews, can anyone who owns them please give me there opinion on these speakers, Thanks.

I don't own them but did enquire about them, specifically whether to go for 9.SR's or the more usual 9.0.

The speakers are essentially the same, except the SR's, are wider but less deep then the 9.0 so would sit slightly flusher if wall mounted. I think the 9.0 also go a little lower.

You can get either from AV Bristol( http://www.shopavbristol.co.uk/shop...FABNvhufJUYfaDqYQNzVuEt8hIk75YvvA&shop_param= ), the Sr's aren't shown but they can get them for you for the same price as 9.0's.

For what it's worth, I went for the 9.0's, just because I prefered the look and was using stands anyway.

EDIT : Here's my thread on it http://www.avforums.com/forums/speakers/885590-wharfedale-diamond-rears-9-0-9-sr.html
