Both of these speakers are around £400, just wondering which would be better for Movies, some music but not much, just mainly movies and gaming

    Thanks.

I would probably lean towards the 10 HCP set as they are slightly bigger speakers so should have a little more depth to the sound. The Moviestars are slightly smaller versions of the diamonds. If you can house the slightly larger speakers then they are the ones I would go for. Although both are good speaker sets for the money so you will not go far wrong with either. What receiver do you have?

Don't have it yet but am due to pick up an Onkyo TX-SR605.

Do you think that will suffice?

They should be fine. The 605 really deserves better speakers with the Diamonds being the minimum I would get. That said both sets of speakers will be a good starting point and aloow for upgrades in the future.

Ok, thanks for the sound advice, very helpful, The amplifier at least gives headroom for better set later on
