I have a pair of Wharfdale 8.2 speakers with an entry-level AV Amp (Sony STDRB795) and I am looking to slowly upgrade to a full 5.1 speaker set, starting with the fronts and centre speakers.
I have about £400 to spend; is it worth getting rid of the Wharfedales and if so, what fronts & centre would be the best in terms of sound and value for money?

    Thanks,
    Jan

keep your existing wharfedales for rear duties and partner them with Wharfedale Diamond 9.CC Centre Speaker £100 or the more expensive Wharfedale Diamond 9.CS Centre Speaker £149.95 and the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 Loudspeakers £180 for your fronts, this would leave you some cash to go towards a sub

Have you seen the wharfedale 5.1 package for £100 over you budget
