Wharfedale 8.1 powered monitors

Novice Member
In my home cinema set-up, I have an entry level five speaker TANNOY system, with a matching sub, that I drive with a Sony amp. Its OK but not great, I cant always get the dialogue right from the centre speaker and I am constantly adjusting it to see if I can make it better.

I also have a pair of Wharfedale 8.1 powered monitors that I have as part of a home studio set up. These have now become surplus to requirements and I am thinking I could incorporate them in to my home cinema set up.

My plan would be to replace the centre TANNOY with both the 8.1 monitors. Anyone see a downside to this or suggest a better alternative ?
