    Hi,

I know that companies may be trading on the names of the past but I'd like an honest comparison of these TV's.

Both are currently for sale in Argos for 599.99 the major difference being that the Wharfdale includes a Freeview decoder and has an LG DVD writer supplied free of charge as part of the offer. However I'm probably going to buy a twin tuner PVR (Once i can get my head around what's the best deal) and a stand alone DVD Recorder.

I've just bought a LiteOn LVW-5026 DVR (with which i'm totally disappointed after only 4 days, due to really bad picture quality).

any views or ideas on reasonable tv's for around the 600-700 mark would be really appreciated.
