Has anybody on here seen WeVee yet?

WeVee is a new unique online experience allowing you to view archive video and film footage from across the Midlands dating back as far as 1901. But more than that WeVee allows you to edit your favourite footage to music and make your own short mash-up to share online. Using fantastic footage from the past – with your imagination – you can stamp your mark on history and embed any WeVees you create on your own social networks.

The video content is mainly from the West Midlands area and includes some gems such as Malcolm X's visit to the Midlands in 1965, footage from the Cadbury factory and excerpts of life in the Bournville village, Stanley Matthews's final appearance at Stoke City Football ground and the Ladywood riots in the 1970's.

Get involved and discover some unique moments from our past, see what was going on where you lived before you were there, explore, create and have fun. Be, live, go, share WeVee!

Nothing of interest happens in the Midlands. Why would I want to view.

Isn't this spam?
