I have tickets for Muse on June 17th but I don't have a clue where to stay. I have stopped at Wembley Hilton in the past but that and all major names close by seem to be booked up or can't guarantee parking. I did think about stopping in Watford and hopping on the tube but as I don't really have a clue about London I'm not sure the best way to go. Are there any readers with local knowledge who can suggest anything? We are coming from up north if that helps...:lease:

You could stay in South Ruislip, there is Days Hotel right next to the station,

    Travel via the Chiltern Railway

    Hi mate

Forget South Ruislip, I worked on the new Wembley for a year so know most the hotels and b&bs in the area! If you want a fancy place stay in the Wembley Hotel or Ibis ( both are 30 seconds from the Stadium or Arena) If you want cheap but very clean and late night drinks try the Green Man pub on the hill in Dagmar Avenue 1min & 30 secs from both again! Ask for Mel and Tracy!

    Have a good time, regardless!!

I'm sure there is a Travelodge nearby.

aye, you want the Travel Inn (or Travelodge whichever it is) behind the Travellers Rest pub/restaurant in Kenton......

however Kenton Station goes to Wembley Central, which is not so near the Stadium area, instead you go past the entrance to Kenton station, take the second left and go to Northwick Park station on the Metropolitan line (only a few minutes walk dont worry), that goes to Wembley Park station which is the one that was opposite the twin towers......

the Travellers Rest is a nice place for a drink and bite to eat btw....foods obvious beefeater steakhouse type fayre, but its a big place and usually you can get a table......theres always a bunch of Indian restaurants (as in actual Indian food, not curry house crap), oh and a full size sainsburies too......
