Watched this very funny film last night after having it recommended to me by Uncle Eric. Simply put, it's the story of an inept bunch of small time crooks trying to pull off "the big one"

I read the reviews at IMDb and there seems to be no middle ground with this one, you either love it or hate it.

The subwoofer will remain asleep and the rear speakers may as well be disconnected as this film is about dialogue and characterisation not explosions.

It's a really funny film. It's not a masterpiece but then most films aren't. Its so funny in places that u just..well whatever u do when u laugh a lot. The sound is steroe for most parts with only some music and very rarely other sounds coming from the rears. True the sub is asleep.
Nice film though, ah and if u don't like Clooney don't worry he only shows up for a minute or two as a thanks for paying for the film.

Inspired by the 1958 Italian comedy Big Deal on
Madonna Street.Which is available on R1

Welcome to Collinwood is the third remake of the Italian
    classic.

The original is best for me.

As I said in the opening post, you either love this film or you hate it and I have found very little middle ground. Whoever wrote your review didn't like it whilst Lux and I did so by my reckoning that's 2-1 to the ayes
