Producer Joel Silver and Universal Pictures are planing on remaking John Hughes' classic 1985 comedy Weird Science

According to Deadline, they will "attempt to carve out its own identity by being redrawn as an edgier R-rated comedy in line with 21 Jump Street and The Hangover." I don't know if you saw the original movie or not, but I'd have to say that it was already pretty damn edgy and crude.

When this first came out on VHS I remember going back to the video store and tracking down anything made by John Hughes or the Brat-Pack.

These films are classics and should not be touched.

I've also got the TV series on DVD.

Can you remember the episode where they play a life size version of pong ?

There was a line by a creature they were playing against saying he only lost because his controller was stuck.

I think it is from season 3 to 5.
