Weight of AX5Ai-S

Hey all, i have just received my first ever AMP for my first ever proper sound system and just a bit concerned about the weight of it, would it be ok on a glass shelf? or can you recommend a decent glass shelf system that you know supports its weight around £300?

What do you mean by glass shelf? Do you mean some kind of av/hifi rack?

I use the Atacama Equinox rack which wouldn't have a problem if placed on the bottom rack.

I use a glass shelved TV stand (was only about £90 from Index) to hold my DVD player, amp, and err... TV, and it does the job just fine. There is a fair distance between the shelves so you should be able to fit your amp no probs. The two shelves are a good cm thick.

Obviously this is only suitable if you need to put your TV on it too though.

Sorry i did mean a glass hifi rack

Just thought it was really heavy and bit concerned about it breaking rack, as i say its my first one so it may be normal
