Hi i have been meaning to buy the Wedding singer on region 1 for a while but after reading two reviews one for DVD Review and one for Amazon I am getting confused?
one gave it 1 star for video and the other gave it 5 stars for video.
Has any one got the region 1 copy and can you tell me if the picture is good or not or do I have to buy the region 2?
    cheers Dave

Well I've only seen the R2 E.I.V version and the quality isn't great I seem to remember. If in doubt go for the R1 version every time [IMG] especially when E.I.V are concerned.

I have the R2, I got it from MVC, as part of a buy 1, get one of these for a fiver deal.
The DVD is virtually extras free, picture suffers from a few glitches but is otherwise good, sound is also good. You should be able to pick it up on the cheap.

Yup - this picture suffers from quite a few glitches on the R2 version. Only worth putting up with this if you can get it cheap which is what I did, but even then it's taking liberties.

I've got the R1 and it's great. It's New Line although not Platinum and extras include a karaoke section of five songs including Billy Idols 'White Wedding'.

The picture is cripsy and the sound is clear as a bell. Highly recommend the film on its own and with the few extras this has it's definately worth it. By todays standards its not brimming with extras (no trialer [IMG]) but its got some nice touches.

Get it from Play though cos they stock the Candian version which has a few more things on it then the US.
