Not sure if this is covered under this Forum.

Can anyone recommend a decent webcam??

I will be using it to contact family abroad and would require a fairly good one. I have seen some where the screen only refreshes every few seconds I need a fairly quick one.

    Any help appreciated!

You may well already have a very high quality web cam!

Many of the newer digital camcorders can be connected to a PC via USB and used as a web cam, and you wont get better quality than that. Software is normally supplied with the cam for this, but if not search this site for details of useing a camcorder as a web cam as it has been covered a few times in the past.
If you don't have a camcorder then many digital stills cameras can also connect to a PC via USB and can output video, not as good as a camcorder but should be better than many web cams.
