    Hi all,

I just recently got a webcam that might neighbour was throwing out, so I asked him if i could have it. Problem is, he lost the software CD for it, the cam also has no markings to say what make it is. I assume it cam free with his old PC or something.

Its white and blue if that helps, anyway, does anyone know where i can get generic cam software off the net, or can this even be done.

I just want to make it work on Yahoo Cams.

    Can anyone help.

    Thanks

    C. :lease:

It sounds like (but this is a long shot) it might be a Creative.

What OS are you running? If XP it might not need additional drivers. I would try plugging it in anyway. If it's USB the OS might recognise it, which might give you a clue as to who made it.

If non of that works, to be honest you can get webcams from around £10 upwards. So unless you can identify it, and it turns out to be something special, I would just buy a new one.
