Im after a really good webcam to replace my broken Philips one (over 2 yrs old)... just tried two and they were absolutely dreadful!

Im after one with a built-in mic that connects via USB. i.e. dont like external mics and dont have a spare 3.5" mic socket).

Seeking personal recommendations pls.. Buying this afty.. :)

Get the new Logitech Quickcam Fusion. 1.3 megapixel sensor and good sound. I've got the Logitech Quickcam Sphere. Not bad and great looking, but takes up quite a lot of space.

You could get a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000, has one of the best pictures around as it uses a CCD sensor instead of a CMOS one, the RRP is £79.99, but a few weeks back PC WOrld had a bunch of them going for £49.99, try checking there...

Cheers.. Like the idea of the fusion, but the 4000 with CCD and £50 sounds good... ta.
