Webcam for desk in front of a window!

Standard Member
Hi Everyone,
In need of some help please.

I have just set up my desk in my new home office and all of a sudden my webcam is awfull. If I am on calls at night its fine, but during the day (even when dull outside) I am completly washed out on the video and look really pale and white.

Can anyone recomend either a new web cam that will sit on top of my screen and will permit me to change the lighting levels via software, or can anyone please give me some tips on what I can do to stop this from happening (cannot move the desk).

I have looked at some webcams online, I ordered a Nexigo one but that was just as bad and had not software to change anything.

Budget is around £100 mark.

Many thanks for any help :)

I would put some sort of window blind/curtain to reduce the light level coming into the window. Any webcam you use is likely to suffer the same problem unfortunately.
