When I display Package management, installed "epg" and "webif" is shown twice, both showing "install" under Action tab.
If I choose install I get an up to date report.
I can never get a series record to go past the first episode, tried last night on 5HD, got a corrupt HMT file only and that was the first episode of the series record (series record works from the remote control fine).
Are these related in any way, what is by best course of action?

Let's start with the duplicate entries in the package management. Go to the WebIf, Documentation, FAQs, Duplicate Entries in the Package Management List. And follow the instructions for all duplicate entries.

Then go to Package Management and Update to ensure all the installed packages are upto date.

Check the series recordings to see if they now work.

Thanks, David
I have deleted the 2 extra listings and am testing the series record.

I picked late last night you were having a port error in Filezilla, I assume this is now sorted.
Are you testing with old and new series record?

I was trying to open the status file in Filezilla, now transferred to pc, edited and saved back, webinterface now showing 1 each of installed packages (must learn to read the FAQ first, sorry)
I deleted the old series record slots and re-entered them.
Four in a bed (only for testing, I add) recorded 3 programs this morning but due to being back to back the HDR did not power down between recordings.
Have some more series recording set for Monday/Tuesday so see how it goes.
Thank you for the help

You should have been able to open/edit the file through FileZilla, I do. Did you use Notepad++?
Glad to have helped.
Hope the testing goes well.

I got to the status file and clicked it but the address was cleared at the top and a port error was shown, I looked at assigning Notepad++ in Filezilla but you have to associate an extension, the file does not show one?

Good to hear that the series record is now working.

You can set FileZilla to use Notepad++ as 'default editor':
From within FileZilla go to 'Edit', 'Settings'.
Then select 'File Editing'. Under 'Default Editor' select 'Use custom editor' and then browse to 'Notepad++'. Then 'OK' to save

I have done that, if I right click and select view/edit it opens another window of Filezilla and reports the port error and clears the address at the top of the original window

Just checked works for me. Using FileZilla v3.23.0.2 (64bit), Notepad++ v7.2.2 (64bit) on Windows 10. FileZilla & Notepad++ installed using default settings.

Has anybody else had this problem?
