Well, in a moment of weakness over lunchtime (or is it MADNESS) I've just ordered a Pace Twin Freeview.... (just got to sneak it past the Mrs.)

So does anyone like it or loath it...?
Like is the preferemce so if I get caught I can tell the Mrs. why we (I) need it!

Also can any DVD recorder be attached to it to archive, or are there any recommended ones?

    Thanks all.

Panny E55 are great and £200 ish (were £150 with some jiggery pokery) very good value as the Twin will output S-video via second scart the RGB in debate does not need to apply S-video on 28" WS will look fine. so I would probably recomend the JVC DMR-10 (do you have a digital camcorder???) or maybe one of the Sony units more money but imporved functionality with TV (potentially)

Ignorance I know, but are these all DVD recorders???
Oh and what's the "jiggery pokery"...?
And yes, I do have a digital camcorder (a Sony) that I edit a lot on my PC and then burn to DVD on the PC.

And what sort of improved functionality would the Sony offer....?

Sorry for the questions - but I'm excited at the prospect of this set-up...
    Especially after this:

    Thanks for the help.

Vouchers for stores for extra discount etc
If you wanted to use DVD-R for any editing then i reconmend the JVC DR-M10 or Panny E65
Smartlink, DVD remote controlling TV etc
