But it seems we can't quite design a phone that doesn't scratch so badly that you want to smash it off a wall cause you accidently put it in the same pocket as your keys.

I get a nice shiney new phone and two weeks later........ruined!!

So my question is this, I've seen on e-bay that you can buy new shells for the samsung D500. Are they easy to fit and is there any official samsung product I can buy to give my phone a new lease of life????

After my earlier post i have just bought a Martin Fields K750i screen protector from ebay for £6.49, if the screen is scratched, i saw a few that 'repair' the scratches and there was feedback from people that said it worked, might be worth checking out.

It's not just the screen I'm bothered about but the full casing seems to scratch and chip so easily. It's a D500 on orange, the gun metal grey coloured one which is now speckled white where the grey has chipped off!!

Having a one year old who likes to throw it around the house and bounce it off the tiled floor in the kitchen doesn't help either I suppose :nono:

Apparenly you can replace the full shell and screen with exception of the keypad and battery, but I've only seen silver and black on e-bay. I was wondering who makes these and if they are of good quality.

Don't be silly - its easy.

    1. Buy the worlds biggest bungee chord.
    2. Strap to a couple of real tall mountains. Heck, maybe just use everest ?
    3. Pull back as far down the mountains as possible.
    4. Wait till the moon is overhead.
    5. Let go.

    :D

    Could work, couldn't it ?

I think your idea may have as much of a chance as sticking a tin can on top of a Saturn 5 rocket.
