Why, when did they start addressing the elephant in the room and start spending money on the actual analogue amplification as opposed to pouring money into licensing gimmicks? Do AV receivers actually sound any better for having all those digital bells and whistles bolted onto them or are they in gact less well built in order to fascilitate getting those bells and whistles for a targetted price?
