Please note this is the MY CLOUD HOME nas

I bought this just last week from WD direct thinking it was a newer version of my existing MY Cloud. In fact it is nothing like it therefore I have decided to sell it on.

Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via private conversation to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:

    • Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct, too
    • Name and address including postcode
    • Valid e-mail address
DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

It just operates differently. Two completely different interfaces. The Home operates as a normal nas
but leans towards more social media/cloud based interfaces.

Thanks to @brunation for answering the question and probably killing any chance of me selling the NAS.
I thought that sort of information should be limited to the Networking & NAS forum.
In future matey - DO ONE!

Lower than what you want I know but I would take a risk at £100, not sure it will be what I want but willing to give it a try.

Thought that might be the answer, does this still working in the same way as the old version that any photo's I take on my phone will automatically load onto the unit using data or wifi from the phone as thinking about it to back up my photo's while on holiday.

Whats the lowest you will take ?

For various reasons I’ve decided to withdraw this item from sale. Thread
