WD have sure released a boat load of media players the last 2 years and i see that many have ethernet ports so you can connect to your computer which is cool.

but what aboot wireless streaming? do any of the WD boxes support it? do u need to get an adapter first?
any ideas or anyone doing this 'wireless streaming' thing now?

thanks!

WDTV Live has wireless streaming. Need to buy a adaptor separately.

thanks for the info.
how does it handle 1080p from your PC to TV?
can u tell a difference between the wireless streamed VS the playing from USB drive?

not used it, router to far away

I've read a bit on both sides tbh

that streaming is ok if you have the speed, but then can be unreliable so

I can't do HD streaming with 100Mbps wired connection from WDTV to router then wireless 54g to the pc. It needs to be wireless N speed (not tried it though).
