Wavebirds are back in stock at Play for £17.99 - CLICKHERE Great pad works a treat on the Wii.
Cheers mate - that means I can get my fourth, and last, Wavebird!
Thanks for that! Why pay £15 for the classic wired controller when this will do! No more kids tripping over the wires either.
That's a good feeling, I always remember my fourth
I thought you could only use these for gamecube games, do they work with VC also?
Also the classics are only wired to the wiimote, so no wires trailing.
Aahhh...I didn't know that. Thanks.
How long do the batteries last with these?
To put it in s word....AGES! lol, they seem to last so long it always takes me by surprise when the batteries eventually run dry.
Probably helped alot by the fact the Wavebird doesn´t have any rumble feature, I haven´t eveer even bothered using rechargables in my Wavebirds as the normal batteries last so long I´ve never felt the need to purchase any
I would say definatly buy them at this price, you won´t regret it, my second favourite controller ever after the 360 wireless ones.
I see they have changed the box now, mine is a a cardboard box (unopened), hopefully itll make it rare in the future happy days !
Didn't they always come in a cardboard box I'm sure all four of mine did, including the ones I bought from Canada.
[EDIT]Ah, or do you mean they no longer come in a cardboard box?
The ones I bought from Canada were pictured exactly the same as the Play pic, but they did turn up in the usual cardboard boxes.
I think I will, it will be easier to play my GC games on my Wii! They do work with the Wii don't they?
Great price for a great controller! Be rude not to buy one at that price!
Okay, bit the bullet and ordered one. I'll ask quesitons later!
Yes they work on the Wii .
Yep, even on the VC games, was playing Mario64 last night using one.
Okay thanks guys - this will work well then as the lead on the GC controllers aren't that long as it is.
The only thing that's a shame regarding the Wavebird is the fact that the receiver will end up protruding from the top of the console, hardly aesthetically pleasing. Why they couldn't include the receiver inside the console is beyond me.
Yeah, I thought the same, but hey, what can you do.
I suppose at least it means there doesn't have to be wires across the living room. The original GC controllers don't exactly have the longest leads!
