Just have acquired a new gaming PC

    i7 3770k @3.5ghz
    Asrock extreme 4
    16GB Corsair Vengeance
    3TB Storage HDD
    670GTX Palit Jetstream 2GB

As this is a beast of a PC im looking at keeping this for the next few years, so was wondering what watercooling way i could go with it? whether a system like Antec Kuhler h20 etc or a custom system for both CPU and GPU? I havent ventured into water cooling before so need some help on heat sinks, pumps etc

also im after a SSD for windows 7 as a boot drive, any ideas?

    Thanks guys

    My advice is don't bother.

I used watercooling for years, and even ended up using a phase cooler.

Now I just use a good case, good cpu cooler and leave myself free to swap things out, without the hassle.

If you've convinced yourself to do it, then a custom system will be better.

well ive always been on air cooling, Arctic freezers etc, and had big open cases, such as the choices i have now, nzxt Phantom or the Antec 902, with plenty of fans. And as ive never dabbled in water-cooling for such a high spec system it would be worth it?

would it be worth going for a Antec kuhler or similar?

I'm using the Corsair Force GT 120, best SSD I own, it's been 100% stable so far and is very quick. Fireware updates are easy to apply as well.

Water cooling is great but a hassle, I would go with a good CPU cooler like a H100i etc in that line and a good case with good airflow. I would also suggest a Samsung 830 or 840 series ssd these are some of the best on the market.

Well I have a choice between the antec 902 and a nzxt phantom case? What would you say to be with the best airflow? And between the antec kuhler and corsair h100?

Also what prices are the new Samsung 830/840 going for?

+1 on the Samsung. Crucial M4's also seem to get generally good reliability reports along with Intel 330's. I hear that OCZ SSD's are not well thought of reliability wise except maybe the Vertex3/4 series.

    840 basic is about £76 (120GB)
    840 Pro about £106 (128GB)

Both cases are fine for air cooling, IMHO I would go with the antec 902 only because I have one myself love the case. And between the antec kuhler and the corsair I would go with the corsair because I also have one myself but be careful if you getting the h100 it is a full 240mm rad. In my case I went with a h80i because it's a 120mm rad and fits in my case better the antec 1100

I could mount the rad outside the case, and I'll get looking into it, I think this bundle I have got is coming with a corsair h50i but the guy says that he had problems with its cooling, any ideas??

Maybe he just over did it on the CPU overclocking the h50 is a good CPU cooler I don't see why else he would have a problem or maybe he mounted it wrong.
