Taken yesterday from the North Bank of the River Humber at Hessle near Hull. Went there to take photos of the Humber Bridge but got distracted by this container ship passing under the bridge. Hope you like it...

A very nice shot, is it the Humber bridge? shame the ship is not slilghtly larger. The left hand side of the ship kinda dissapears into the horizon, but very nice. You certainly have the "elements" covered. Am finding this one tricky myself.

The large is definately worth a look.

I think its a really nice shot and the silhouette looks spot on.My only crit would be that the boat could do with being isolated against the orange sky.The back end seems to have blended with the background which is a tad of a shame.

well done for spotting the elements;):smashin:

Thanks for the comments guys.

I agree that it would have been better if the ship was larger but I only had my 18-55 kit lens on and this was taken at 55mm. I did have my Sigma 70-300 APO with me but by the time I'd have changed lenses the ship would have gone.

The "3 out of 5" refers to the Chinese elements of metal, wood, water, fire and earth. See wikipedia article here for more info...
