Ive recently found out about Freesat and as we only watch the Horror channel, Film 4, Discovery Turbo and the History channel would like to see if its possible to get rid of Sky. We pay about £45 pm which is a lot really for just those channels.
I can see that Horror and Film 4 are available on Freesat but no mention of the 2 documentary channels we watch
Is it possible to do this ?
Thanks

My current set up for info-
Sky HD + box in living room
Sky HD+ in main bedroom
Fibre optic broadband (Plusnet)

You can get those channels for less than you're paying now, only with Sky of course.

The two channels are included in the Family Pack at £28 a month.
It's still a lot to pay of course for two channels!

I'll check my Sky account and see what it is exactly we've got
Fed up paying for channels we never watch
Thanks

That's how Sky make their money. If folks only paid for the channels that they watch, Sky's business model would soon collapse!

Graham.

I think that five "packs", the Original Variety Family Films and Sports, that they offer are a reasonable number.
