Watching 4:3 for hours on panny PW7

    Hi,

    is it safe to watch 4-5 hours of telly on 4:3 with BLACK bars on the panny PW7 ? I just hate watching stretched tv screens... :mad:

    The PW7 is pretty hard to burn should be ok. what are u watching that could be 4:3 nearly everything on digital tv is 16:9.

    He's in Amsterdam, don't ask awkward questions! Seriously Holland might have more 4:3 material, but as long as it's not all the time you have little to worry about. We all know how popular panasonic are onthe forum, and we have had, IIRC, just 1 possible screen burn reported, on a Viera used by kids constantly I think it was.

    yeah, most here on cable is still 4:3 , even the belgians have outbeaten the dutch ! Will switch to satelite soon though :)
