Hi, in the process of having a new kitchen fitted and have an slight issue with the washing machine waste.
I have a sink unit then the dishwasher to the right then the washingachine to the right of that. The fitter has routed the waste pipes under the unit and up through the middle of the sink unit and into the appliance outlet spigots on the sink waste. The dishwasher seems to be working fine but the washing machine hose needed extending and is leaking. The fitter is obviously going to fix it but is it a bad idea to have any of the pipe running at floor level. Given its extended won't it just be a place for water to sit in.

Mine does and has been like that for over 20 years. Water will sit in it but gets flushed through each time you use it.

Thanks for the reassurance, just need to make sure the join is done properly before the floor goes down
