Washer jets not working...

My front washer jets are not working on my 1998 vectra, they are not even making the usual humming sound, any ideas people? how much will this cost me?

Might just be abit of damp on the conectors, my astra did the same. I just wiggled the lead on top of the screen wash cointainer and squirted a little WD40 onto the connetcs to repel any moisture.

No humming noise? Then that means the motor isn't firing when you press the button. In which case the problem is electrical. In which case the likely culprit is one of two things : either, worst case, the washer jet motor has died, or, more likely, the fuse has blown.

Neither are expensive.

a: pipe has worked loose ( as no noise)

b: Pump not working.

Should cost nothing.

the stalk on the steering column could also be faulty, although it sounds like the motor has packed up to me.
