    Hi

Don't know if this should be in the dvd recorder section or here so mods, please move it if needed.

Anyway, just got myself a Panasonic DMR E55. The picture is fine on my parents new Sony 28" widescreen, however, when I use it on my own 15" Philips which is about 10 years old, the picture is very bright and washed out.

My 2 previous dvd players both worked fine on my tv. The intriguing thing is that if I connect my video up to the tv via scart, I get the exact same effect.

Checked the obvious things like different scart cables and setups.

Doing a little bit of research on the net, I came across a site which said that this sort of effect can be caused by the non-termination of the video signal?

So just wondering if this could just be a problem that my tv has with anything that has a video in scart, e.g. my video and the dvd recorder.
