the mount was for a tv 37-61ins
i did ask at ths comet store

what do i do £169 for a load of ------
advice

How
about
you
post
properly
and speak proper english?
If it's via a mobile and your only way, I apologise.

If you were told it was suitable for your telly and it isn't, you are within your rights to take it back under the sale of goods act because it was not fit for purpose, simple.

Quote that and I don't see you having a problem :smashin:

£169 for a bracket (!) - you could have got a decent future automation bracket for that!

The most you should pay for a cheapo made in china comet special is about £50 at a push (£25 most other places)

But from what you have said it supports upto 61" and if you screen is 60" it should be ok...

Also how come you have a joiner mounting for you???? Wouldnt a proper Av installer be better suited?

  • had a email from comet they can order adapter to enable to mount the tv
  • nothing in the box about a adapter
  • do you have to complain before you get one
  • the joiner who mounted the tv us a friend who is first class
  • the 60ins tv was heavy to lift on the wall
