Now that i've had sky digital for a year and the manufacturers warranty is up, I am thinking of getting Sky +, instead of forking out for an extended warranty.

An extended warranty is going to cost £110 anyway.

    Therefore :

What price is sky + ?
What price is installation? (I understand I need an extra cable ran)
Also does anyone actually use the 100 odd hours the sky + 160 gives?
Will the picture quality be any different?

    cheers.

Existing customers have been getting it for £99 after complaining that new customers were getting it at that cheap while existing customers who have paid in £££££ have to pay a higher price (£149-£199) depending upon offers.
Installation depends upon the deal, sometimes it's included in the price and other times it's around £60 for a standard install.
Since many people have upgraded the basic 40gig HD it's reasonable to assume that they make full use of the extrea recording capacity:)
PQ should be the same, however there are always slight differences between components/models and manufacturers.
